My "Between The Light" series concentrates on the transition from night to day. We all experience this time differently. I have a strong connection to the morning hours which I try to convey emotionally in my photographs. The moody and silent moment where a city awakes is a powerful moment. In Set I of this series you can find photographs which have been taken shortly after the sunrise. The sun bathes everything in soft and warm light. Set II concentrates on the well known tourist spots in the city shown abandoned and without people before sunrise, when the curtain of darkness surrounds the city.
I am presently starting to collect images of different night photographs for Set III. Those photographs have been taken in the side streets of the city and show less known places. This set concentrates on the well kept secrets of the city.
